FIRE ADVISORY – SUMMER VILLAGE OF ROSS HAVEN

As some moisture has been received within both Lac Ste. Anne County and the Summer Village of Ross Haven, the Summer Village of Ross Haven is now under a Fire Advisory effective Friday, May 26th, 2023 at 4:30 pm.

Fireworks are still prohibited and residents are encouraged to refrain from non-essential burning on their property.  More moisture is still required to fully mitigate any risks.

The following are permitted, but caution is encouraged:

–      bylaw compliant fire pits (with screen in place);

–      internal household fire places;

–      portable propane fire pits & appliances;

–      BBQ’s & smokers using charcoals and pellets; and

–      ATV use on private land.

Always remember to use extreme caution while using your fire pits. An “under control” fire can change in a matter of seconds or minutes. Thanks for helping keep the residents and community safe!
