{"id":4837,"date":"2026-01-25T12:16:29","date_gmt":"2026-01-25T19:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rosshaven.ca\/?p=4837"},"modified":"2026-01-26T20:10:32","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T03:10:32","slug":"haven-meadows-new-name-for-500-parkins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rosshaven.ca\/?p=4837","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Haven Meadows&#8221; = new name for 500 Parkins"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At the January 2026 regular meeting of Council, after consulting with the community, it was decided that the Lands formerly call 500 Parkins Avenue are to be named &#8220;Haven Meadows&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Lands are designated an off-leash dog walking area; and<\/li>\n<li>no motorized vehicles are permitted upon the Lands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At this time it is in Council&#8217;s plans to develop walking trails upon the former &#8220;fairways&#8221;, utilizing Municipal staff and equipment to undertake such.<\/p>\n<p>The Ross Haven Community League has put forth additional suggestions of potential uses of the Lands, these will be developed in conjunction with Council.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the January 2026 regular meeting of Council, after consulting with the community, it was decided that the Lands formerly call 500 Parkins Avenue are to be named &#8220;Haven Meadows&#8221;.
