At the January 2026 regular meeting of Council, after consulting with the community, it was decided that the Lands formerly call 500 Parkins Avenue are to be named “Haven Meadows”.
It should be noted that:
- the Lands are designated an off-leash dog walking area; and
- no motorized vehicles are permitted upon the Lands.
At this time it is in Council’s plans to develop walking trails upon the former “fairways”, utilizing Municipal staff and equipment to undertake such.
The Ross Haven Community League has put forth additional suggestions of potential uses of the Lands, these will be developed in conjunction with Council.
